Puppy Courses

Our regular Puppy Courses comprise 6 classes which take place once a week and are open to puppies as soon as they are 10 days past their second vaccination. Spaces are limited to 12 puppies per course, so advance registration is required to secure your spot. Please note that we do not accept new registrations after the second class.

What to expect

The classes focus on building a strong foundation through socialisation, play, trust-building, and bonding between you and your puppy. Basic commands like sit, down, come, and walking on a loose leash are also covered.

Each class begins with supervised socialisation at 5:30 PM, where puppies interact with each other in a controlled environment. This helps them learn appropriate play behaviour and become familiar with different dog breeds—important for positive interactions with other dogs and people as they grow.

Our experienced trainers are on hand to ensure the play is safe and constructive, answer any questions you have, and provide guidance throughout the sessions.

In addition to socialisation and basic obedience training, we also introduce puppies to basic agility exercises, such as walking through a tunnel or over a plank, as well as games to keep the sessions fun and engaging.

Extra socialisation

If your puppy is at the right age for socialisation but there is a gap before the next class begins, you’re welcome to join the socialisation portion of the class. When the formal training starts, you are welcome to observe from the clubhouse area—this allows you to listen to the instructions and try the exercises with your puppy at home.
